Citizens must have access to health care
I recently graduated from the University of Montana and I work seasonally doing conservation work. My parents recently retired and I do not qualify for health insurance at my current job. Doing trail work can be physically demanding and I often worry about my health in my profession. But, this year I qualified for Montana Medicaid and it has been such a positive change in my life. I feel a peace of mind going forward knowing that I can help my community and our forests without the fear of getting injured without health insurance. I urge you to lift the Medicaid expansion sunset. For our citizens to thrive they must have access to basic health care.
